Do I need to extract my data from Hotello to get an updated list?

R :

The H Emailing service is linked directly to your PMS Hotello, which allows you to contact guests who stayed at your establishment starting with your very first mailing without the need to transfer any data. Everything is automated!

Q :

Does Law C-28 prohibit me from contacting guests who have stayed at my establishment?

R :

When guests stay at your establishment, they enter category 2 of the agreements accepted by law, which means that you can communicate with them without any issues for a year after their stay.

Q :

I have a small database. Is it worthwhile to send out newsletters?

R :

If a person is included in your database as a client or has taken the time to register for your newsletter, it’s important to stay in contact with him or her. The size of a database is not an indication of its quality or success. Success is much more a function of the relevance of the content of your newsletters.

What is considered a good opening rate?

R :

An opening rate is an indicator that needs to be qualified with each mailing, because a multitude of factors can influence openings, in particular the size of the database, the date and time of the mailing, the subject of the newsletter, etc. The ultimate sign in determining the success of your newsletter is its success rate.
